Affiliate Sales Programs
One of my sites sells a product. I wanted to have a network of
affiliates selling my products.
To establish a network of affiliates to make sales, you need software that tracks the
visitors so your members can get credit for the sales, and that keeps track of
the commissions,
and all that other stuff. There are a number of sites offering
affiliate software. Some you pay by the month, some you pay
once upfront, some either/or.
The one I finally settled on was FusionQuest.
I liked FusionQuest because you have the option of either buying the
software outright, or making a monthly payment. I chose the one time
fee. With the onetime free payment you still get to use their web
based system .forever. They offer a free shopping cart and manage the
software. It's GREAT! To check out FusionQuest just
click on the following link.
FusionQuest is a time-tested, reliable, feature rich affiliate tracking solution that is easy to use and affordably priced. The start-up costs are low enabling you to get a program started with little risk, yet the system has enough scalability to grow with you.
As far
as I am concerned, the shopping cart alone was worth the price I paid for
the whole program. It's easy to use, easy to modify, and works
great.
The tech support is great. I suggested that they put into their
order form a place for the customer to make suggestions and to respond to
our question about how they found us, and the tech support people not only
did it, but made it an option for all of their customers. Kewl.
They also have an affiliate directory where you can become an affiliate
of a large number of affiliate programs that their software runs.
One nice thing about this program is that the links directing visitors
to your site from the affiliate's site counts as a link to your site since
there is no "?" in the URL. So your affiliate's links
contribute to a positive ranking on Google's page rank. At least in
theory.
